I was quoted 4500 in closing costs on a loan and was finally given an estimate of 12K. Very shady company. They made huge mistakes in the closing costs update and it keeps getting higher. Their requirement for paperwork is unrealistic and frustrating. I had to refax documents over and over before they go them. Go with a local bank which will be much easier to deal with. Was a bad experience. It was all good til the appraisal came in then didn't hear from them for a while then never whem though with my approval. Had to find someone else to help me. Add comment

The closer sends you a customer care number and good luck ever talking to him again, until you're finally so frustrated you move the loan. The processor had no idea what she was doing and I have this in an email. You call into a call center like Att however Att does this better...sadly. Justin Fry is the best mortgage guy ever. He is super nice and was very helpful in leading to purchase my first income property. Although he said he wouldn't personally open his checkbook for investment properties with his childhood friend, he did have many helpful answers. Add comment

I had a very bad experience with sebonnic. I was upfront about the house I was buying a forclosure and needing repairs. I was told no problem and I filled out ap. Sent and started process. Did the appraisel as instructed. At that time appraisel showed and stated missing air conditioner and heat pump. Process continues and sebonnic collects all my info and bank records. The other negative reviews are spot on. I wish that my wife and I had read them first. Found Sebonic through Lending Tree. Seemed like a good rate and the salesperson was helpful. After the process began, things began to DRAG. Appraisal took a week. Initial response from Underwriting too 9 days. Then they questioned the appraisal. It took 2 weeks to schedule a review.
